What we think....

Food: If we know anything about Blake, there will definitely be a foodie element to her new brand. Blake loves to cook in her personal life and rumor has it she's pretty great at it.
Style: Blake has unique style and is one of the only celebrities without a celebrity stylist! She knows how to dress and take risks, and somehow she always kills it.
Health: Blake has said that she never diets (this is something that I am a big proponent of also!). Maybe she will share some of her thoughts on healthy eating and looking good without dieting.
Fitness: We know that Blake doesn't like to hit the gym, but she stays active and in shape in other ways. She has said that she likes to distract herself outdoors rather than trying to spend a set amount of time "working out."
Home: Blake is a homebody. She loves to be at home with her gorgeous husband, Ryan Reynolds - I mean, who wouldn't right? She has a beautiful home in upstate New York that she has spent significant time designing and putting her own spin on. I wouldn't be surprised if her brand includes some interior design or homemaking tips.
Beauty: As one of L'Oreal's new brand ambassadors we expect that Blake will incorporate some beauty tips and products into her site. We just hope she doesn't overload us with L'Oreal!

What we hope...

That we love it! There has been so much build up to this new brand, I'm hoping that I love it as much as I think I will.

Blake's Lucious Locks... Easier than you think!

Blake's hair is definitely one of her most enviable assets. Which is why it's so shocking that her hair care routine is so simple. Of course she has her hair professionally colored, and sometimes professionally cut (she likes to do it herself too!). But day-to-day, Blake likes to wrap her wet hair in a ballerina bun to get her oh so well-known soft waves.

She tells us, she waits until her hair is 3/4 of the way dry and then wraps her hair in a tight, low ballerina bun. Occasionally she adds a bit of mousse or ocean water (yes, she has a jug of actual ocean water) to get a bit more texture. Once her hair is dry she pulls out the bun, and voila!

I wouldn't recommend going Blake's route and using actual ocean water in your hair. (Think of the chemicals, oil and fish poop!) But adding a bit of salt water can help give you a natural looking wave with minimal effort. My all time favorite is the Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray, but there are lots of other options to check out also.

Behind the Scenes with L'Oreal, Cannes 2014

Blake Lively, who was recently named a new face of L'Oreal Paris, made her L'Oreal Ambassador debut at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. L'Oreal was nice enough to share some behind the scenes footage of their lovely ambassadors in Cannes. The girls stayed at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Martinez in Cannes, where they did a number of photo shoots and hung out in the L'Oreal suite.

Blake's Hot Pink Lips

Since it's Thursday, here's a throwback to Blake at New York Fashion Week in 2012. Blake wore a Noon by Noor elegant white coat with nothing but tights underneath... foxy! Loved her outfit, but this post is about her Hot Pink LIPS. I love the contrast of the pink lips to her tan skin and white coat. Very Barbie-esque. This is still a trend that we see on many celebrities including Lauren Conrad, Rihanna and Emma Stone. What do you think of the hot pink lip look?

PopSugar did a great post on the manicures that we saw at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival... And of course, they featured Blake Lively. She looked stunning from head to toe and that does not exclude her nails. Lively is always on top of the newest trend, and sported long almond shaped nails in nude and red.
